New Acquisition - July, 2007

It's as old as Canada!
Spectacular 1867 barn - 36' x 54' with high sidewalls and swingbeam - this timber frame can be made into a splendid home with a generous loft. Open up the gable end with large windows for panaromic views. Great atmosphere for a restaurant, winery, golf clubhouse and more.

New Acquisition - July, 2007

Circa 1860
24' x 36' - 1 1/2 storey hand hewn timber frame. This would make a lovely studio, cottage or home. Solid 8x8 hewn joists and some original flooring available for the loft.

Main building is a compact 18'x25' storey and a half with nicely crafted dovetails, and pine logs in the lower courses in the 16" range. An existing unsympathetic summer kitchen addition could be replaced with a timber framed replica approx. 16'x20' complete with loft. We have old hewn timbers that would compliment the main building nicely. Replaced rafters will feature mortise and tenon at the peak with pegged collar ties.

Main building & timber frame addition - $85,000 + G. S. T.

20'x30' storey and a half with nice whiskey coloured timbers. Upper storey is higher than most half storeys increasing headroom and useable
space. Raised panel walls would work nicely here with a centre hall plan or open it all up as a terrific great room.

Price dependant upon reconfiguration, call for details.
